Ola Camillo!
Camillo is a 13 month old husky cross, neutered male, who was rescued from Mexico by one of our adoptve families. He was found by his rescuer chained to a tree on a very short lead with no water or food in the blazing heat of Mexico for many days. Mexico is no place for a husky, and that is no life for a dog, poor boy💔 He is not looking back now that he is on the west coast and loving it!
Camillo is the PERFECT dog for an active family. He loves hiking, playing, bike riding, exploring, playing at the beach, and learning new things. He loves to cuddle and be near his people. Camillo is very smart, and has learned all of his basic commands in English in just a week! He can get into trouble when lonely or bored (mostly chewing or typical husky "chatting"). He is great with all people and dogs but is still learning play manners, and can be a bit overwhelming to smaller dogs or kids. No kitties though please. Camillo will do best in an active home (older kids ok), who have the patience and time to spend with this lovely boy, who spent the first year of his life neglected and in an inappropriate environment for his breed.
