When you foster with NHDRS we provide you with:

• All the supplies you'll need (leash, harnesses, collars, toys, bowls, beds, toys, crates, etc

• Transportation planning, costs, and coordination

• 1:1 support with our experienced case managers who are experienced fosters themselves and with you every step of the way

• Access to additional educational resources and training

• Support from certified dog trainers as you need

• We cover all the dog's medical costs. ​

Your responsibility as a foster is to:

• Provide basic training and support for rehabilitation and socialization

• Assist with going to vet visits and supporting meet and greets with adopters

• And of course, providing a loving and caring home for these special dogs.
